The scope of each engagement will be confirmed in writing.
Clients must:

Maintain proper accounting records and retain supporting documents as required by law.
Review any documents or filings prepared by Accounting Gem prior to submission.
Notify us promptly of any changes that may affect tax obligations or financial reporting.
Accounting Gem is not liable for errors resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information supplied by the client.
Fees will be agreed prior to engagement and may be fixed, hourly, or service-based.
Invoices are payable within the stated terms. Late payments may incur interest or service suspension.
Additional fees may apply if the scope of work changes or requires substantial revisions.
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information, except where disclosure is required by law or authorised by the client.
We comply with all applicable data protection legislation. Personal data is processed only for the purpose of delivering agreed services. Our Privacy Policy provides further detail.
We prepare filings and submissions based on the information provided. The client remains legally responsible for:
Ensuring all submissions are accurate and complete
Meeting statutory deadlines
Payment of any due tax liabilities
We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. However:
We are not responsible for losses arising from the client’s failure to act on advice or provide necessary information.
Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific service in question.
Either party may terminate the engagement with reasonable written notice. Fees will be payable for all work completed up to the termination date.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
